Paloma Wool is the Barcelona based designer and fashion project that dreams are made of. That is of course if your dreams consists of beautiful analog photography, classic hand made silhouettes, dreamy patterns, on point art direction and a vision that transcends fashion into an interdisciplinary world where form, function, and space are constantly at play with each other...
One of my all time favorite forms of art direction and creative thinking happens in the form of look books. I've noticed a lot of independent designers and retail shops starting to go above and beyond to produce gorgeous narratives that don't just showcase their product but really explore and play around with aesthetics and styling in exciting and refreshing ways. Yo Vintage, a shop out of Portland owned by Sarah Radcliffe has been particularly consistent in creating lookbooks that take the concept of photographing a killer collection to a breathtakingly cool new level.
